Job Description

Box Bus has immediate openings for full-time or part-time, permanent owner-operator drivers.

This position requires your own ALL-ELECTRIC mini-van, car or SUV.
You are driving your own car so N licences are acceptable.

Deliveries are within the Calgary area but in one tight, dense zone each day, not all over the place.
8:00 am start time, 6-8 hour days. Routes will be 100km or less. Shifts are available every day of the week. Part-time and Full-time where you customize which days are available.

Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
Cargo is clothing. Light, small packages take up very little room.
Bi-weekly pay on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. No deductions T4-A contractor.

Requirements:

Safety Vest (Class 2) (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road, but I advise wearing a vest while delivering.)
Must provide a vehicle for the work. All-Electric Minivan, Car or SUV. Electric vehicles are required, light, small cargo.
Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season October-April)
Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
Have a smartphone with a data plan.
Have a valid (standard license for cars) driver's license. NO OUT-OF-COUNTRY DRIVER LICENSES ALLOWED (Please go to Driver Services and get your Canadian License)
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred:

1+ year of courier experience in Calgary.
Customer service background.
A can-do attitude.
Time management skills.
