What will your typical day look like?
Deloitte's GES practice is now looking for seasonal tax professionals to work with our amazing team in Canada on an array of fantastic clients across multiple industries.
Our GES team supports companies with compliance and consulting matters related to Canadian and US personal income taxes, social security, payroll, and compensation.
We are seeking talented individuals who are enthusiastic about providing tax solutions and services to our client base, with a focus on tax return compliance. As a seasonal preparer you will:
• Prepare Canadian and US personal income tax returns for our clients' globally mobile employees as part of a collaborative engagement team
• Critically analyze client-provided information
• Assist with client and CRA enquiries
• Assist with advisory projects spanning across different aspects of global mobility
• Work with experienced mentors and grow technically though training and on-the-job experience
• Work with leading technology to minimize administration and maximize productivity

Our GES specialists across Canada are available to ensure tax planning and compliance requirements are met while offering a broad range of costeffective, value-added tax planning that recognizes each country's unique economic and cultural environment.

You are someone with:
• At least one year of relevant work experience in preparing Canadian personal tax returns, or two years of
experience in preparing tax returns in a foreign jurisdiction in a global mobility context;
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence; excellent organizational and interpersonal relations
and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams;
• A keen interest in automation and technology driven solutions;
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; an ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize
new approaches and solutions. Along with proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
• US personal tax experience is an asset, but not essential.
