The Opportunity:
The Canadian Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) team has an opportunity for a
Health Safety and Environment (HSE) to join our team and expand their skills and knowledge
program development.
As a student with the HSE Program team, you will use your knowledge in HSE to develop and revised
HSE documentation to support our operations across Canada. This includes working with key
members of the HSE team across Canada, and internal subject matter experts to develop and
review documentation.

What you can expect to do here:
You will work with key members of the HSE team, subject matter experts and employees within operations to develop and expand WSP Canada's Job Safety Analysis library.
You will work with the HSE Document Governance Team to assist with the review of HSE program documentation.
You'll participate in HSE team meetings to learn how the HSEQ team operates at WSP in Canada and identify opportunities for skill development.
You'll work with the HSE Program team with additional HSE projects as required, which will allow you to work with various HSE team members across the organization.
You'll develop relationships with internal clients, ensuring that their needs are understand and med, providing support where required;
You'll ensure that the appropriate background research and analysis is completed, in consultation with appropriate internal parties and external resources where required.
What you'll bring to WSP:
• University or equivalent education (in progress or completed) related to Health, Safety and/or Environment.
• Strong written language skills.
• Good communication abilities.
• IT literate with the ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint)
• You enjoy working in an office environment.
• Previous HSE experience an asset.
• Eager to learn about HSE at WSP in Canada, and how we support our operations teams across the country.
