Role Overview:
As a Remote IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to remote staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support the implementation of IT solutions. This role is essential in maintaining system performance and a seamless end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line remote support for technical issues via phone, chat, or email

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems

  • Set up and configure laptops, accounts, and software for new users

  • Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution

  • Document technical issues and solutions in internal systems

  • Assist with updates, system maintenance, and cybersecurity protocols

  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, VPNs, and remote tools

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  • IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are an asset
