Reporting to the Program Manager, TDS Copper Growth, the Portfolio Lead is responsible for overseeing the TDS Copper Growth Program (CuGP) planning and delivery execution against the Program Strategic Plan. This outstanding individual will lead program delivery execution as per CuGP policies and procedures, and will be accountable for managing of program budget, actuals and forecast numbers. The successful candidate will further act as a mentor, providing leadership and guidance towards developing a high performing team!

Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Oversee the program curation, progress, and implementation in alignment with the strategic plan and company objectives implementing improvements as necessary
- Align the TDS CuGP roadmap to the support Teck and TDS projects and timelines
- Manage executive communications alongside both partner and vendor management on behalf of CuGP
- Collaborate with PDG, Operational Readiness and Departmental managers to request and acquire required project resources to meet results
- Provide transparency into project and program health through published schedules, regular status reporting, and current budget and forecasts
- Collaborate directly with the program to define processes and communication protocols
- Directly support Program Manager with executive updates, CuGP updates, and ad hoc reporting requests
- Adhere to project process compliance for Corporate Applications SOX and related audits
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of project delivery experience
- PMP Certification and Agile Scrum Master designation is considered an asset
- Practical experience in a Business Analyst, Change Management, or Team Lead role
- Strong vendor management capabilities including experience with contracts
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills
- Practical experience working on projects up to $10M
- Meticulous with a propensity for pragmatism; strives to get the job done right
- Ability to work with limited information while being adaptable and resilient
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at both technical and executive levels
- Outstanding teammate and consensus-builder
- 2+ years' experience using Microsoft Project is preferred
- Strong analytical skills are proven in previous roles
- Familiar with project management principles
- Awareness of Organizational Change Management
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
