Job Description
Our transformation risk and advisory practice focuses on assisting clients that are going through large transformations ($100 Mil - $5 bil) by providing services that cover transformation strategy, transformation risk management, transformation program management or other related services. The core focus of this team is to work with clients that are going through large transformation programs and help them make these programs successful. We bring an integrated people, process and technology approach to these projects and support the client from "strategy to execution" with their transformation program. Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Transformation Risk & Advisory, Program Management Office, Manager you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Designing and implementing program governance and program management strategies
• Assisting in rolling out leading practice program management services like benefits realization, quality assurance, integrated planning, decision management, etc.
• Supporting the design and set up for PMO , d eveloping and executing program integrated plans and delivering large complex projects/ programs
• Working with and presenting to senior program leadership within large scale program s
• Developing responses to client proposals to support impactful conversations with senior client leaders
• Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone
• Gathering evidence from the environment you are working in, interpreting and recommending improvements to clients , and creat ing positive outcomes for all parties
• Coaching others and encourage them to take ownership of their development
• Stay abreast of key industry developments both within Canada and globally
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Significant hands-on experience within program management of large transformation s
• Proven experience supporting implementations of large complex system/transformation initiatives
• Ability to design and set up Program Offices and rolling out the necessary governance and operational processes to manage the program
• Highly confident with implementing or performing project assessments , health checks, and p roject gateway reviews
• Prior consulting experience and a strong understanding of how consulting organizations work and have taken part in the sales cycle
• Certified Project Manager (PMP, PMI PMBOK, APM BOK, PRINCE2, MSP, MoR , Agile, or Benefit Realization)
• Understanding of core project management process area (IT governance, quality assurance, or SDLC), project management software/tools, and/or ERP or industry specific applications
• Self-motivated to begin and continue tasks committed to achieving project goals
• Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
• Advanced analytical, problem solving and multitasking/project management skills
• Strong abilities to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients
• Confident to effectively negotiate, problem solve, and influence through verbal and written communications
• As a requirement, a Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who'll be engaged on these assignments. PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $ 82,300 - $ 137,000 , plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location .
*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region . Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location .
