Our People & Change Advisory practice is seeking a Consultant to strengthen our Management Consulting practice in the Calgary office. We are looking for a motivated professional like you to join our dynamic team. What you will do
As a Consultant in our People and Change practice, you will be a key member of a high performing team. You'll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset as you :
  • Participate in client meetings/workshops and support the team in developing presentation materials in relation to project kick-off meetings, project deliverables, project management and presentation of results
  • Execute on project deliverables working independently and in teams as required in the areas of workforce transformation, organization design, strategy implementation and/or change management
  • Analyze client data in order to advise clients and support clients in the implementation of recommended solutions
  • Support timely engagement management and ensure on-time, at-budget, ad high quality delivery of client deliverables
  • Support client pursuits and proposal development with help from Senior Leadership, and work with KPMG leaders to develop thought leadership, white papers and other intellectual assets
  • Grow your reputation and your relationship building skills by developing your internal and business networks
  • Grow your reputation as a trusted advisor within your area of personal expertise
At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

What you bring to the role
  • Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Behavioural Sciences, or other related field. Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Change Management certifications considered an asset.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience within Human Resources including behavioural change management, workforce transformation, organization design, talent management, project management, and/or organization development.
  • Experience working in a client facing role in a variety of industries and businesses.
  • Experience in meaningful process and strategy improvements that demonstrate your strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work creatively to address client requirements.
  • Quantitative analysis skills to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with client stakeholders, work closely in a collaborative team environment and lead teams and project deliverables.
  • Ambitious to develop personally and professionally
  • Proactive in determining priorities and able to manage multiple projects / competing deadlines
  • Proficient at Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Desire and ability to travel based on client and project needs
Nice to have:
  • Previous experience in Human Resources such as HR Consulting, HR Transformation, or HR Strategy.
  • Previous experience in areas such as behavioural change management, organization design, and organization development with experience working within a management consulting capacity.
  • Exposure to cloud-based technology such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle.
  • Professional certifications in HR and/or behavioural change management are assets but not required.
