The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Intermediate Piping Designer to be part of our Engineering group who will be working on Energy and Resource projects. You will apply your design knowledge on project work from conceptual design through completion. Technical quality, cost effectiveness, building and maintaining team relationships, and providing guidance to a team of designers are integral parts of this role.

What you can expect to do here:
- Provide competent assistance to senior designers with larger project, Including:
- PFD/P&ID creation
- Plot Plan Creation
- Equipment and piping model development
- GA and ISO creation
- Conducting and preparing as-built drawings.
- Check work of and assist in the training of less experienced drafting personnel.
- Identify potential changes to scope and communicate to discipline lead.
- Review third-party engineering design/vendor drawings with engineers to create 3D model and piping drawings.
- Occasional travel to various client sites and conduct field reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the piping design field.
- We require engineering Design and Drafting Diploma in related field.
- Must possess a team player attitude and be able to work in a project team environment.
- Be fluent in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs,
- Ability to work and complete tasks independently, seek out assistance and ask questions of company leaders and experts.
- Maintain an open-mind when receiving constructive feedback and apply recommendations towards self-improvement.
- Experience in CADWORX and Plant 3D
- Previous experience in an EPCM environment is a asset
