About the OpportunityRalcomm has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Store Manager, based in Drayton Valley, AB.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day store operations.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing Accounts Receivable processes
- Overseeing rental operations
- Actively assisting with inventory tasks, including transfers and shipping
- Participating as a proactive member of the safety committee
- Addressing and managing staff requests, including time off and customer issues
- Supporting and guiding staff to achieve TELUS goals
- Assisting the store in reaching goals and targets
- Promoting Ralcomm's products and solutions at community events
- Developing and supporting ongoing marketing efforts
- Performing sales activities to continually increase product and solution sales and rentals
- Continuously acquiring new clients while building and growing the existing client base
- Conducting weekly safety meetings and morning meetings
- Handling customer escalations promptly and effectively
- Addressing staffing issues, including hiring or firing as needed
- Seeking advice from the Owner Team on situations that surpass the manager's ability
- Continuously creating opportunities for employment, growth and improvement
In order to qualify for this role, you must have previous experience as a store manager. A valid class 5 driver's license is also required for this role.
The following skills and experience will be important for this role:
- Friendly with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to being actively engaged in the safety committee
- Experienced in handling customer escalations
- Proven track record in acquiring new clients and growing the existing customer base
- Willing and motivated to build relationships within the community
- Being community-oriented
- Ability to elevate the profile of Ralcomm
- Skilled in creating opportunities for both employment and improvement
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Must be willing to live in Drayton Valley with a strong commitment to community integration
