Position Summary

The Gear Centre is currently recruiting for the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator at our west end Administration Office in Edmonton.

Position Overview
As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be primarily responsible for supporting various digital marketing and ERP management functions with a focus on e-commerce and digital product catalogs.

Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday, daytime 40 hours

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess product or service characteristics to determine marketing and advertising needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract customers, boost sales, and enhance e-commerce performance
  • Manage product listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, pricing, and images to optimize sales
  • Monitor and analyze online sales performance, using data to adjust strategies and identify trends for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with branches to identify surplus or slow-moving inventory, revamp selections, and ensure appropriate products are listed online
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, such as brochures, reports, newsletters, and digital product catalogs
  • Manage product setup and purchase orders within the CSD ERP system and improve ERP processes to integrate with digital marketing efforts
  • Align inventory management with sales forecasts and coordinate inventory levels with marketing campaigns during promotions
  • Generate ad hoc reports and statistics to support decision-making
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Diploma in Project Management and Supply Chain Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in ERP management, marketing, and inventory control
  • Proven experience in leading teams and driving process improvements
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and their integration with inventory control
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in ERP systems, particularly CSD
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on improving operational efficiency
  • Must be professional with strong communication and leadership skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory control software is essential
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fostering collaboration
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive business data
